Badgers is a pub near Petworth which serves real ales, has a good restaurant and high standard accommodation. It is on the A285 just after Coultershaw Bridge as you head south from Petworth. Good for an evening out or to stay for Goodwood and other events.

Black Horse Inn
A wonderfully timeless old coaching inn, situated on the old road through Byworth, West Sussex. The interior remains largely unchanged since the 19th century: bare-boarded bar floor, a huge log fire in winter. Good quality range of local ales. The kitchen produces some of the most innovative food in the area, served in the cosy informal restaurant. The garden is beautifully terraced, with views towards the South Downs.

The 16th century Foresters Arms is in the pretty village of Graffham, just a short drive from the surrounding towns of Midhurst and Petworth. The Lickfold Inn
Chris Evans' pub, the Lickfold Inn is a charming timber-fronted, 15th century free house boasting a wealth of character features and an idyllic rural setting between Midhurst, Haslemere and Petworth. The bar area has an inglenook fire place which is always lit in the winter. In the summer you can eat and drink in our large terrace or in one of our lovely secluded gardens. The White Horse Inn
Set in the village of Sutton near Goodwood and Petworth, the White Horse was refurbished to a high standard and re-opened in July 2008 by the new owners. Along with our well chosen wine list we always have three local real ales on tap. Our contemporary food is full of flair and represents great value for money. We use local suppliers and where possible, local produce. In addition, we have five en suite rooms equipped with good quality furniture and comfortable bedding.
