1648 Brewing Company
East Hoathly's very own brewery and brew pub is The King's Head, situated in the centre of the village, which is the primary outlet for the beer produced by the 1648 Brewing Company. Started brewing in 2003.

Adur Brewery
Adur Brewery is nestled in the heart of the South Downs and is reviving an old tradition of brewing in the Adur Valley. The brewery has been running a pilot plant for many months and now in the spring of 2008, the brewery itself is being built. One beer in particular, Merry Andrew, is a dark strong ale, and is available from April 2008.

Dark Star Brewery
The Dark Star Brewing Company was born in 1994 in the cellar of The Evening Star Pub, in Brighton. Makers of award-winning, characteristically hoppy beers, including the eponymous Dark Star strong bitter and the very popular Hophead. Now situated in Partridge Green near Horsham, the new brewery was officially opened by Roger Protz on January 26th 2010.

Fallen Angel Brewery
Fallen Angel is the smallest brewery in Sussex and is located in East Hoathly, between Uckfield and Hailsham. Capacity has been expanded and the brewery produces a range of 15 ales which are stocked at all times. All output is in bottles with only occasional casks produced on request. Provides a range of 'heavenly' and 'devilish' bottled real beers including Cowgirl Gold, Naughty Nun, and Black Cat Ale, with some interesting beer labels.
