2Long Man Brewery
The Long Man Brewery is based at Litlington, in the heart of the South Downs National Park. We aim to produce fantastic real ales using our very own barley grown on the farm. The builders are in, recipes are being formulated and tested, and beer names are being discussed. We aim to start selling our beers in April 2012. If you would like to know more, or are interested in stocking our cask ales, please contact us.

We offer a range of hand pulled ales, lagers, bottled ciders, wines, spirits, soft and hot drinks. Whether you're looking for an afternoon cream tea, an afternoon curled up with a good book and pint, a pub quiz, or a night out with some live music, we can accommodate you. We are a dog and family friendly pub and we also have a small separate room which can be hired out for meetings or events, a selection of games, a small book swap selection, free Wi-Fi, a real fire, large free-view TV, a darts board, (and 2 darts teams), and a secluded garden. 4Kings Arms at Rotherfield
The Kings Arms is a 17th century inn, formerly a barn, and it is said to be one of the most haunted pubs in Sussex. We are situated in the charming and picturesque village of Rotherfield in East Sussex. Rotherfield is criss-crossed with a network of bridleways and boasts five walks, one that starts and finishes at The Kings Arms, so groups of walkers regularly choose from the menu before they start their walk. The menu combines the best of modern British with Mediterranean influences and wherever possible the food is locally sourced and organic.

5Half Moon Inn
Our friendly traditional pub in Midhurst offers a full range of local real ales, draught and bottled beers, a wide selection of fine wines and lagers from around the world, plus soft drinks, a selection of teas and freshly brewed coffees. We serve lunch and dinner from an extensive menu of seasonal and local dishes, many of which are made on the premises. The Half Moon Inn is a Wi-fi broadband hotspot, great for that quick business lunch or evening meal, please ask at the bar for details. The Half Moon Inn can cater for private functions of up to 60 people inside and barbecues and children's parties outside in our large garden and patio. By arrangement we can cater for morning breakfast for those who maybe going on elsewhere for the rest of the day. Coaches are welcome.

6Sussex Beer and Cider Festival 2012
The 22nd Sussex Beer and Cider Festival, organised by the Sussex branches of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), will be held at the Hove Centre on the 8th to 10th March 2012. There will be nearly 230 traditional beers on sale to cope with the expected big demand. There will be ciders, perries, country wines as well as British and foreign bottled beers. The downstairs bar has been designated as the LocAle Bar and will be selling only beers from breweries in Sussex. Advance tickets for the Festival will be on sale from the 16th January to 4th March at local outlets.

7The Volunteer
We are a traditional pub in the heart of Lewes, East Sussex, offering home-cooked food and live music in a warm, comfortable environment. We keep three real ales on draught, including the local brew, Harvey's Best Bitter. We also carry an extensive selection of spirits, and offer a range of wines. Traditional pub grub, cooked to order, is served during the week. Alternatively, try our fresh homemade pizzas on Friday nights, or our Sunday roasts, all lovingly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Local blues, jazz, swing, and rock 'n' roll bands play every Friday evening and Sunday afternoon.

8Cinque Ports Arms
Newly refurbished, the Cinque Ports Arms is situated in the beautiful old Cinque Port town of Rye on the Kent/Sussex border. It caters for the local community as well as for the busy tourist trade. The pub is on one of the busier streets in the town and is just around the corner from the railway station. The pub has a comfortably furnished horseshoe-shaped bar, outside decking and a new garden to relax in. It is an ideal place to unwind after browsing the many antique shops in the historic town. 9Sussex pub chain scores Michelin hat-trick
A chain of pub eateries scored a hat-trick with three entries in a prestigious guide. The Gingerman group's Sussex venues have been highlighted in the Michelin Eating Out In Pubs guide for 2012. They were among 20 pubs in Sussex which got an entry in the guide.
